Executive resume

An executive resume, written for the role in front of you.

Not every move needs a full transition programme. When you've found the role, been tapped for a promotion or want to apply with confidence, you need one thing done properly: a resume that makes your value obvious in the first ten seconds.

When it's the right choice

You know where you're going. You need the document to match.

A specific role

Tailored to one opportunity

You've seen the advert or the search firm brief, and you want a resume built around exactly what that organisation needs.

Job boards and search firms

Ready for every application

You're applying through job boards and search firms, and need a resume that passes applicant tracking systems and stands out to the person reading it.

Internal promotion

Seen at the next level

You're going for a promotion or an internal appointment, and need the people who already know you to see what you'd bring to the bigger role.

What makes it executive

Written the way senior appointments are decided.

01

A conversation first

Your Executive Transition Coach starts with a 90-minute consultation about your career, your achievements and the role you're targeting. Nothing is written from a form.

02

Value before duties

An opening summary that tells the reader what you're known for and why it matters to them, before they reach your first role.

03

Evidence, with numbers

Budgets, teams, revenue, turnarounds and transformations. The scope and results that show the level you operate at.

04

Built for systems and people

Structured to pass applicant tracking systems, and written to read well for a recruiter, a CEO or a board.

05

Aimed at the target

The language, emphasis and achievements chosen for the role or level you're going for, not a summary of everything you've done.

06

Written from scratch

No templates and no recycled content. Every resume is written for one person and one goal.

What you receive

A finished document, and the confidence to send it.

Your executive resume

In Word and PDF, ready for job boards, search firms and direct applications.

First draft, fast

Typically within three business days of your consultation.

Unlimited revisions

Refined with your coach until it's right, with no time limit.

Confidential throughout

Your details and documents are never shared without your permission.

Add what you need

A tailored cover letter, executive bio or LinkedIn profile, written on the same narrative.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

Will it work with applicant tracking systems?

Yes. Every resume is structured to be read correctly by applicant tracking systems, without sacrificing how it reads to a person.

How long will it be?

Long enough to show the scope of your career, short enough to be read. For most senior leaders that's two to three pages, with the most important information on the first.

Can it be tailored to more than one role?

Yes. We write it for your primary target, and can tailor versions for other roles you're applying for.

I'm going for an internal promotion. Is that different?

A little. The people reading it already know you, so we focus on showing what you'd bring to the bigger role rather than re-introducing you.

Can I upgrade to the full programme later?

Yes. Your resume becomes part of your positioning, and your coach carries on from where you left off.
